Makharia electricals has introduced oxford brand of squirrel cage induction energy efficient motors. These motors have eff 2 levels which incorporate special features matching all leading indian brands with own usp of having same size bearings fixed at both de and nde ends and the terminal box fitted on top.
These motors are manufactured at an iso-9000 & 14000 certified company and made of cast iron body with totally enclosed fan cooled, ip 55, f-class insulation, continuous duty rating.
Standard ratings: 2-pole - 0.18-315 kw; 4-pole - 0.12-315 kw; 6-pole - 0.18-200 kw; 8-pole - 0.18-200 kw; 10-pole - 45.0-160 kw; and frame sizes - 63 to 355 l frames. These motors are built to meet or exceed the iec standards for dimensions and performance such as iec 34-1 - performances; iec 72 - dimensions; iec 34-5 - degree of protection.
For greater application flexibility and increased safety margins, these motors can be used at 415 v ±6%, 50 hz ±5%, and with combined variation of ±10%. The service factor is 1.15 sf at 50 hz, which is typical for iec motors of continuous duty. The motors can also be made available in high voltage [6 kv and 11 kv].
